Getting Started with Cube-IQ – Building a Basic Load

Getting started with Cube-IQ is very straightforward, but we do have a short training video to help you navigate our software.

In just eight minutes, we introduce the main load setup screen, and you will learn how to plan out a new load or how to edit an existing load and view the results. The video talks you through the three things you need to get started, beginning with the basic terminology used, naming your load, picking the right container for the load, and adding your products.

Once you watch the video, you’ll quickly see the software is specifically designed to be intuitive to use, and you will understand how simple it is to plan your first load. When you have chosen the container and products, simply click the Optimize button and load is built and stored within a second or two.

The updated Load Plan screen shows how everything is loaded, plus other useful information. The screen shows the volume of product loaded and which is also expressed as a percentage of the container. The loaded weight is shown clearly, so you can immediately see that the weight is also within the limits you set.

The graphic is more closely viewable using the Load Plan tab. The loaded container can be viewed from any angle and shows how Cube-IQ positions items in the container as the load is built up. Returning to the Load Setup tab allows you to print the load. The printed load report can be saved as a PDF, emailed to colleagues, or even translated into different languages. MagicLogic software supports many common languages, and additional languages can be added on request.

The training video provides a quick insight into some of the capabilities of our powerful software program, but it can do a great deal more. We offer training demonstrations for companies, during which we can use your data. Let us show you how to leverage our software, improve efficiency, and reduce shipping costs. Talk to us about our custom solutions for hard-to-load items.
